Saturday: Family Day

Just got home from shopping with Mamhie and baby Rhyz! Tired, exhausted, and out of money (lols), I think I have to hit the bed now. Well, Sunday is not always the family day huh! :D Ciao!

5.4 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Manila

Just this night, when Me, my Wife and my daughter are having a dinner, something happened which I didn't get to experienced since the last time I did way back from 1991. A 5 second (I just thought of that) earthquake occurred which according to the news is a Magnitude 5.4 earthquake. I never thought what happened to Japan would happen to us this early, BUT! holy crap it just happened! And I was shock that all I can think of is my baby and my wife. So what I did is take them upstairs and wait for the earth shaking to subside. And thank GOD it did! And I said to myself, "someone up there still loves us that HE didn't let anything bad happened to us".

Time for a wake up call for all of us, let's do something for our love ones that we won't regret doing before something MORE terrible happen.

Luck Is Still On My Side

Yesterday was no ordinary day... I'm talking about me going to the office as early as 5:00AM and not later than 5:30AM or 6AM... But something came up on my way to the office and let me tell you this horrific story which by the way I've witnessed with my own eyes!

Exactly 5:00AM:

I ride a PUJ (Public Utility Jeepney) at Moriones to Divisoria and I think It was that cold that I almost slept on the vehicle but everything goes smoothly as usual.

I think it was 5:13-5:20:
Divisoria, I also ride a jeep (like I said, I'm doing this for about 5 years now) to Stop 'n Shop Sta. Mesa and like the first ride, everything goes fine.

5:30:
Sta. Mesa, usually I'll be waiting for a PUJ with a vacant spot on the driver's seat but instead I ride inside to think that I'll be coming early at the office. I already noticed that this 2 guys (1 beside a girl, and 1 in front of her near the "ESTRIBO") seems to have something talking about with their hands. Suddenly, (really too sudden), on a spot on Sta. Mesa where there still no people or jeep passing by, 1 guy says "PARA" and before the jeep stopped, he grab the girl's bag and the other guy points a "GUN" (I think it was a caliber 38 revolver) to the girl. The girl didn't resist at all and gave the bag to them. After that, I thought they will get our things too, but instead, they came down on the jeep and point the gun on the jeep and randomly shoot us. Before we knew it the guy sitting beside the driver has been unluckly shot on the back of his head and I told (with a loud voice) the driver to kick the gas before someone would be killed again. And then we rush the poor guy to a hospital near the area.

5:45:
Lourdes Hospital, guards, nurses, and us took out the guy from the jeep and placed him on a stretcher and let the doctors examine him. While we waiting, the Police came and ask us questions regarding the incident and after some questions, I decided not to go to the office and instead, go home and rest my mind.

This is one of my baddest experiences ever in my whole life! And until now, I still can picture on my mind what happened to us! Wish I wasn't there yesterday. Damn!!! I just think that someone UP there still loves me and wants me to be alive. THANK YOU!!! :(

Another Weekend...

It's the weekend once again! Don't have any plans for the next two days. Taking a rest and a full 8+ hour sleep are the first thing that came to my mind, yet, I want to go shopping with my baby and her mom, but it's not that easy 'coz I don't have the money yet! (darn) :(

 Sucks to be me isn't it??? Hmmm... what should I do? I need to raise money in advance for my baby's 1st birthday and I'm like...

 

...to earn enough money for that day... hmmm... so instead of going out and having a beer with friends, after the office, I just go home and rest, some updates from Facebook, and Blog update... Lucky for me I have my baby to make me feel easy and comfortable the whole weekend. One kiss from her and..... stress is gone!!!

woot!!! So If I were you guys, it's better for you to treat the weekend as a family day and not just like the usual BEER day... hehe... just sayin'! I'm gonna hang up now and leave you guys with a "Have a great weekend ahead!!!"

The One

Super One??? The truth? I have no idea about that word, it's like I only heard that from a movie or a TV show. But, letting me to define that word is not easy... Hmmm... Ok... for me, A Super One (if you're referring to a person) is the one who could make you feel as super as he/she was. Like for example, my baby daughter, Rhyz, I chose her as the "One" although that she couldn't even speak, she can make my day complete. How??? After a graveyard shift which make me kinda exhausted because of lack of sleep, but everyday that I come home and see her, smiled at me, all my stress just flown away! And when I kissed her, I felt that she wants to give me a hug or a kiss too!

This is my everyday life with my super one. *Sigh* If only that I don't need to go to work everynight, I rather spend the whole day embracing her and chat with her (even she's not to me, lol), maybe, that's the most wonderful thing that I can ever imagine!

You guys! Don't be jealous, you too can have your own super one, you just need to find it for yourself and when you do, just make sure that you'll take good care of that person and be a "Super One" on him/her too as she's into you.

Weekend Special

Nothing beats spending quality time with your family during weekends, specially with your baby daughter and your wife... why not?!?

Just by looking with these pictures, you know how I enjoy my weekend rest like never before! It's like an icing on a cake or you can it the cream of the crop!

Whatever and however you want to describe it, for me it's the most enjoyable day of the week and I can't wait for another weekend to do it again!

1 Month And 5 Days...

Having a baby is the most precious feeling which is incomparable with any other feelings. Watching them grow and develop in front of your eyes is the important part of your memories and they will stay with you till you live. Baby development milestones start within a month of their birth and goes on.

For the sake of those who don’t know, this is my baby girl Rhyz Antoinette...

Time flies so fast! She’s on her 1st month now and she’s gaining weight by the day. She’s starting to look like her mother because of the folds on her arms and legs and her eyes too.

Can't wait for her to respond when we talk to her and see her smile or laugh.

2 Weeks And 5 Days...

It's been 2 weeks since I introduced her to you guys... and now... it's her 2nd week on our world and she's really making me like "I don't wanna go to the office, I just want to stay beside you and kiss you" hahaha!!! :D

March 29, 2010

1:10 AM: (Marian's House)

I woked up, hearing someone is crying in pain and before I knew, it was Marian (my wife :D) and she's on the couch, crying and holding her tummy. And she's really in pain and constantly calling out my name. After looking into her, I guess that she's ready to give birth that time, so I called her mom and dad and aunt and tell them that we really need to rush her to the hospital. But Marian refuses, she told us that it's only the contraction that's making her to feel that. So we just look at her and trying to make her feel comfortable and relax, "BUT"!!!..... I think it was 3:00 AM then, that she insists us to rush her into the hospital and so we did!


3:30 AM: (Emergency Room)

After we got her dressed up, we soon arrived at the E.R. and the doctors and (luckily!!) her private O.B. is there, and they assist us immediately. Random tests soon gave to her..... and I mean "A LOT"!!! damn!!!


5:20 AM:

We're still at the E.R. and Marian is really making me nervous by making (I don't know what is) sound!!! And I decided to tell her doctor to confine her that time, but, the doctor told me that she's not yet in a uh, uh, hmmm... should I say, delicate position. But still, I insist her to do!!! (the doctor) :D, and so she did! (Damn fool!!!)


6:30 AM: (Labor and Delivery Room)

We end up waiting, outside of the room and seeing nothing but the door and curtains on it, I make myself comfortable by sitting on the stairs.


8:30 AM:

3:00 PM:

......oopss......after a long wait!!! I decided to ask the doctors inside what's the status of Marian is. And the just told me that she's still "laboring" and she's 6cm (whatever that is)....


6:00 PM:

Because, I'm one of those annoying dads outhere who's excited with my baby of course, I ask the doctors inside again and they've told me to just wait and their getting Marian ready for the big night!!!


7:20 PM:

The doctor came out at the closet (haha!!!) the door of course, and with a loud voice... she called, "MALONZO!!!" here's your baby.... girl!!!

An 8.1 lbs. baby girl was handed out to me... and all I can say is ----------------............. whooo!!!

And here she is... Baby girl Rhyz Antoinette M. Malonzo





I can only say that, I will love her for the rest of my life, and I'll give all my heart to her and I won't let anything bad happen to her... Love you baby Rhyz!!! :D
